I’ve been working diligently, getting the weekly livestream version of Hip-Hop Can Save America! running smoothly (Mondays, 9pm ET!), preparing a new teacher professional development workshop I’ve developed, pumping out episodes of my social justice-meets-music podcast News Beat and progressive politics-meets-economics podcast Unf*cking The Republic, and… well… It’s my birthday month (Jan. 31, #teamaquarius!), so I’ve been planning out some festivities of course!
